Earth Day Tree Plantation Drive

A project to beautify our temple premises as part of our Earth day effort is in full swing. We will start planning the tree plantations. Current plan is to plant 6 trees and a small flower area.

We have changed the parameters of the pledge to make it possible for everyone to participate. Instead of pledging for a full tree, you can pledge for one or more bricks, where a brick is priced at $150. You can pledge a number of bricks even if you do not want to engrave it and simply want to promote ecologically friendly measures! If you want to sponsor an entire tree, that is six bricks! 

The actual planting of the trees will be done by volunteers from community organized by the humanitarian committee, under the supervision of a professional landscaper. 

All donors for this fundraiser will be recognized for their generosity with an engraved brick (4”x8”) that will be used as a marker for the tree sponsored (see sample below). We will use 6-10 engraved bricks for each tree. Please use the link below to donate towards this drive.
